Pharmacological Effect
Extremely Potent Androgen & Anabolic: Binds strongly to androgen receptors, with very high anabolic activity (estimated 5–10× more potent than testosterone).
Non-Aromatizable: Does not convert to estrogen (no estrogenic side effects).
No Progestogenic Activity: Unlike trenbolone, it lacks progesterone receptor binding.
Suppresses HPTA: Rapidly shuts down natural testosterone production.
Indications
Bodybuilding, muscle growth, strength enhancement.
Recommended Dose
- 0.5–2 mg/day (often cycled briefly due to extreme toxicity)
- Not for Women: Irreversible virilization likely at any dose.
Side Effects
- Hepatotoxic: Severe liver strain (oral 17α-alkylated structure).
- Androgenic: Acne, hair loss, prostate hypertrophy, virilization (in women).
- Cardiovascular: Aggravates hypertension, negatively impacts cholesterol (LDL↑, HDL↓).

Contraindication

- Prostate/breast cancer (androgen-sensitive tumors).
- Psychiatric conditions (may worsen aggression/depression).
- Osteo cancer, male breast cancer, severe liver/kidney disease, pregnancy, heart disease, hypercalcemia.
