Sibutramine Hydrochloride 15 mg Tablets by Alpha BioPharma are a former prescription weight loss medication designed to assist in obesity management by reducing appetite and increasing satiety. Sibutramine works as a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), helping regulate appetite signals while slightly boosting metabolism and thermogenesis.

Although widely prescribed in the late 1990s and 2000s for obesity treatment, sibutramine was withdrawn from most markets in 2010 due to an increased risk of cardiovascular complications in certain patient groups. Despite this, it remains studied and used in controlled or research contexts.

Pharmacological Profile

Recommended Dosage & Administration
