T3 (Liothyronine Sodium) 25 mcg Tablets by Alpha BioPharma provide a synthetic form of triiodothyronine (T3), the biologically active thyroid hormone. T3 plays a vital role in regulating metabolism, energy production, growth, and neurological development.

Compared to T4 (Levothyroxine), T3 acts faster and has a shorter half-life, making it effective for rapid symptom relief in hypothyroidism and as an adjunct therapy in thyroid cancer suppression. It is also used diagnostically in thyroid suppression tests.

  • Start 5 mcg daily, increase gradually under close monitoring

• Elderly / Cardiac Patients:

  • Start at 5 mcg daily, increase cautiously
